It's 5 days off from the 6 months mark since we lost you. It's been difficult, not going to lie. When the alarms go off, eyes open and the world comes back into focus, along with your absence. The feeling of something missing grows strong again, the hole in ones heart begins to ache once again. With each passing day the heartache hits like a thousand lightning strikes. It doesn't seem to get easier. Time doesn't seem to heal, we just learn to live with the pain, the missing, the longing.
